Exploring the Future

Monday night was an exciting night for employees and community members at Spectrum.  15 students ranging from 8th-12th grades from a variety of local school districts attended a Chippewa County Explorer Program (CCEP) event here at Spectrum.
CCEP is a new collaborative program between Chippewa County, the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation, and the Boy Scouts of America to add an addition to the Scouts' Explorer Program, which provides hands-on career experiences to scouts starting at age 12.
This past Monday students worked with Spectrum employees to learn about what goes into product development. Here the students are shown doing an activity that relates to team work, communication, and integrating those ideas into the product development process.

Spectrum Explorers will meet the first Monday of each month to learn about all the various aspects of manufacturing, including: Research & DevelopmentEngineeringSales & MarketingSkilled TradesLogisticsBusiness/A…

Meet Our Territory Managers! January Edition

The first Wednesday of each month we will be featuring one of our Territory Managers. This month you have a chance to get to know Mark Dotson - Territory Manager of the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Selling Spectrum products in a territory that encompasses Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, is ideal for a Civil War enthusiast. Mark lives near Richmond, Va., home to the Confederacy’s capital during the Civil War. “There are over 120 registered battlefields and skirmish sites in the state,” he said.

A native of Dayton, Ohio and graduate of Ohio University, this loyal Cincinnati Bengals fan enjoys selling Spectrum products in the Mid-Atlantic region. “It’s wonderful when demonstrating our products to prospects and customers at tradeshows and they say, ‘We love your products,’ or ‘We have been using Spectrum for years.’ It shows that I represent a reputable and highly regarded company.”

The success Spectrum has achieved in the mobile device cart market makes Mar…
