Spectrum LT Series Laptop Carts are still at the "Top of the Class!"

Spectrum Industries is widely recognized as a leader in the innovative development of furnishings for learning environments. Some of the developments have been so accepted that they continue to be at the head of the class years after their introduction.

Spectrum introduced the LT series of laptop/notebook storage and charging carts in the middle of the last decade. However nearly 7 years later these user-friendly and technology friendly  design is still un-matched in the market today.

What makes the design superior to others on the market you ask?
First and most importantly we listen. Our customers are instrumental in providing  critical market and user feedback. By listening to them we are able to accommodate their needs from the start. Second, we carefully review the technology being incorporated into our products. Third, we include the highest quality material available, ensuring that our products will last as long as our customers need them. Fourth, we run each new product through a series of demanding performance tests. Each new product must meet or exceed ANSI/BIFMA standards before we release it to our customers. Fifth, our features are second to none. The unique pull-out laptop trays, the ease of mobility, the security built into each model and of course the incredible aesthetics make each cart something our customers are proud to display. Finally, we stand behind our products. Our goal is to exceed our customers expectations and we cannot do that without exceptional customer service.

Still not convinced? Well just listen to what our customers are saying about the products and service they receive
"You certainly have a great product and awesome customer satisfaction. Everyone loves the new carts.  Thanks again. It's a pleasure doing business." NH customer

"They're great! We really like the Spectrum products. Thanks!" MD customer

"We absolutely love it. It's absolutely beautiful. Our technician saw it for the first time today and remarked as to what a quality piece it is. He has seen several carts and thinks this one far outshines the others." WI customer

Simply put, Spectrum furniture is made to last and perform for years.

Larry Lindenauer, territory manager with Spectrum in the New England region believes that product durability is one of Spectrum’s strongest selling points. “When I go to schools, they show me purchases from several years back that are still in great condition.”
Mark Dotson, territory manager with Spectrum in the Mid-Atlantic region agreed with this sentiment, stating that “it’s wonderful when demonstrating our products to prospects and customers at tradeshows and they say, ‘We love your products,’ or ‘We have been using Spectrum for years.’ It shows that I represent a reputable and highly regarded c…

New Product: Tablet Locker

We’ve been busy and it doesn’t look like we’ll be taking a break soon! Spectrum’s newest product is the InTouch20 Secure Tablet Locker.

We’re taking a good idea and making it smaller! Adding iPad, eReader or other tablet technology to the curriculum? The InTouch20Secure Tablet Locker is the little cousin to the InTouch40 Tablet Cart and is just the thing for the small classroom. The wire management and numbered slots make organization and charging easy. With the optional Synchronizing Kit, apps can be added and the tablets synchronized. Security, charging and syncing all in a small footprint to fit in the small classroom!

You can look to Spectrum for solutions whether you’re in the market for a lectern, desk and tables, or mobile computing storage and charging carts.

First Wiki Launched Today

WikiWikiWeb, the first wiki or user-editable website, was launched on March 25, 1995 and still is a valuable source of information and sharing.
The concept and development of the “Wiki” came from Ward Cunningham in a hope to create a web page that was quickly editable by the users. In Cunningham’s case, it was to establish and promote an exchange of ideas between programmers within his company.

Cunningham originally was going to call his new platform “QuickWeb,” but later he remembered a Honolulu language term for “fast” used by an airport counter employee. The employee told Cunningham to take the Wiki Wiki Shuttle, a shuttle bus line that runs between the airport's terminals. "Wiki Wiki" is a repeating of "wiki", a Hawaiian language word for fast.

From the “Front Page” of the WikiWikiWeb:

The idea of a “Wiki” may seem odd at first, but dive in and explore its links! The “Wiki” is a composition system; it’s a discussion medium; it’s a repository; it’s a mail syst…
